     Thomasine Emily Jocelyn was the daughter of Hon. George Jocelyn and Thomasine Bowen.2 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Frederick Shaw, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Robert Shaw, 1st Bt. and Maria Wilkinson, on 16 March 1819.1 She died on 30 November 1859.1
     From 16 March 1819, her married name became Shaw.

     Maj.-Gen. George Shaw was born on 21 December 1822.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Frederick Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Thomasine Emily Jocelyn.2 He married, firstly, Marie Desfontaines, daughter of E. Desfontaines, on 27 October 1846.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Porter, daughter of Reverend Charles Porter, on 1 October 1872.1 He died on 12 October 1892 at age 69.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Marie Desfontaines was the daughter of E. Desfontaines.2 She married Maj.-Gen. George Shaw, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Frederick Shaw, 3rd Bt. and Thomasine Emily Jocelyn, on 27 October 1846.1 She died in February 1871.1
     With two daughters (died unm).1 From 27 October 1846, her married name became Shaw.
