     Captain Samuel Hynman Montgomerie was born on 28 October 1856 at Louth, Lincolnshire, England.2 He was the son of Henry Hynman Allenby and Eliza Bourne.3,2 He married Lady Sophia Constance Montgomerie, daughter of Archibald William Montgomerie, 14th Earl of Eglinton and Lady Sophia Adelaide Theodosia Anderson-Pelham, on 15 January 1885.1 He died on 15 June 1915 at age 58.4
     He was given the name of Samuel Hyman Allenby at birth.4 In 1893 his name was legally changed to Samuel Hynman Montgomerie by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Garnsgate Hall, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.

     Jamesina Joyce Ellen Stewart was the daughter of John Stewart.1 She married, firstly, Henry L'Estrange Styleman le Strange, son of Henry Styleman and Emilia Preedy, in 1839.1 She married, secondly, Charles Griffiths Wynne-Finch, son of Charles Wynn Griffith-Wynne and Sarah Hildyard, on 7 September 1863.1 She died on 6 July 1892.1
     From 1839, her married name became Styleman le Strange.1 From 7 September 1863, her married name became Wynne-Finch.1
