     Alice le Strange was the daughter of Henry Styleman le Strange.2 She married Laurence Oliphant, son of Sir Anthony Oliphant and Maria Campbell, on 8 June 1872.1 She died on 2 January 1886.1

     John Stewart Oliphant was born in 1837.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. James Oliphant and Sophia Ann Trewman.2 He married, firstly, Jean Bright, daughter of Dr. unknown Bright, in 1865.1 He married, secondly, Jane Susanna Coke, daughter of Colonel Edward Thomas Coke, on 1 July 1885.1 He died on 21 July 1924.1
     John Stewart Oliphant was Director of Funds, India Office.1

     George Augustus John Oliphant was born on 4 April 1866.1 He was the son of John Stewart Oliphant and Jean Bright.2 He married Mary Elizabeth Knyveton Harland, daughter of Rev. Canon unknown Harland, on 3 September 1890.1 He died on 28 February 1941 at age 74.1
     George Augustus John Oliphant held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire.1 He lived at Chatley, Warminster, Wiltshire, England.1
