     Marjorie Kythe Mackenzie was born on 25 January 1892. She was the daughter of Sir Kenneth John Mackenzie, 7th Bt. and Lady Marjorie Louisa Murray. She married Sir John Stirling on 1 June 1915. She died in 1971.
     Her married name became Stirling.

     Brigadier William Alexander Stevenson Mackenzie of Gairloch married Marjorie Charlotte Stirling, daughter of Sir John Stirling and Marjorie Kythe Mackenzie, in 1941. He died in 1982.
     Brigadier William Alexander Stevenson Mackenzie of Gairloch was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1
