     Major Sir Francis Nigel Napier, 14th Baron Napier was born on 5 December 1930. He is the son of Lt.-Col. Sir William Francis Cyril James Hamilton Napier, 13th Baron Napier and Violet Muir Newson. He married Delia Mary Pearson, daughter of Major Archilbald David Barclay Pearson, on 30 October 1958.
     Major Sir Francis Nigel Napier, 14th Baron Napier gained the title of 5th Baron Ettrick of Ettrick. He gained the title of 14th Baron Napier of Merchistoun.

     F/Lt. Ernest Magruder was the son of Ernest Pendleton Magruder and Maryel Alpina MacGregor. He died on 28 August 1942 at Malta, killed in action.
     F/Lt. Ernest Magruder fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserves.

     Sir Hector David Mackenzie, 8th Bt. gained the title of 8th Baronet Mackenzie, of Gairloch.
