     Reverend Hon. John Aylmer was baptised on 25 May 1723.2 He was the son of Henry Aylmer, 2nd Lord Aylmer and Elizabeth Priestman.1,2 He married Elizabeth Vassmer, daughter of John Henry Vassmer, on 4 June 1755.2 He died on 16 February 1793 at age 69.2
     Reverend Hon. John Aylmer graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.).2 He was the Rector at St. Alban's Church, Wood Street, London, England.2 He held the office of Prebendary of Bristol.1

     Mary Eliza Journeaux was the daughter of Edward Journeaux.1 She married Sir Udolphus Aylmer, 7th Lord Aylmer, son of Captain John Athelmar Aylmer and Elizabeth Coates, on 28 June 1841.1 She died on 14 September 1881.1
     From 28 June 1841, her married name became Aylmer.1 As a result of her marriage, Mary Eliza Journeaux was styled as Baroness Aylmer on 5 March 1858.
