     Captain John Athelmar Aylmer was born on 19 August 1795.2 He was the son of Admiral John Aylmer and Martha Cazalet.1,2 He married Elizabeth Coates, daughter of Henry Coates, on 12 July 1812 at St. Werburgh's, Derby, Derbyshire, England.1 He died on 21 January 1849 at age 53.1
     Captain John Athelmar Aylmer gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Melbourne, Quebec, Canada.1

     Admiral John Aylmer was born circa 1759.1 He was the son of Reverend Hon. John Aylmer and Elizabeth Vassmer.1,2 He married, firstly, Martha Cazalet, daughter of Stephen Cazalet, on 2 September 1784.2 He married, secondly, Frances Pearson, daughter of Reverend Henry Thomas Horner Pearson, on 2 November 1809.2 He died in 1841.1
     Admiral John Aylmer gained the rank of Admiral of the Red in the service of the Royal Navy.2
