     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Melbourne, Quebec, CanadaG.1

John Aylmer and Elizabeth Vassmer.1,2 He married, firstly, Martha Cazalet, daughter of Stephen Cazalet and Martha Mesman, on 2 September 1784.2 He married, secondly, Frances Pearson, daughter of Reverend Henry Thomas Horner Pearson, on 2 November 1809.2 He died in 1841.1
     He gained the rank of Admiral of the Red in the Royal Navy.2
