     General Thomas Fox-Strangways was born on 28 December 1790. He was the son of Reverend Hon. Charles Redlynch Fox-Strangways and Jane Haines. He married Sophia Eliza Harene, daughter of Benjamin Harene, on 20 July 1833. He died on 5 November 1854 at age 63 at Inkerman, Russia, killed in action.
     General Thomas Fox-Strangways fought in the Battle of Inkerman on 5 November 1854.

     Sophia Eliza Harene was the daughter of Benjamin Harene. She married General Thomas Fox-Strangways, son of Reverend Hon. Charles Redlynch Fox-Strangways and Jane Haines, on 20 July 1833. She died on 19 March 1870.
     Her married name became Fox-Strangways.

     Sophia Maria Fox-Strangways was the daughter of General Thomas Fox-Strangways and Sophia Eliza Harene. She married Reverend Christian Frederick Newell on 26 April 1864. She died on 18 January 1900.
