     He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was Rector at Claydon, Winslow, Buckinghamshire, England.2

     From 14 July 1879, her married name became Meysey-Thompson.

     Colonel Richard Frederick Meysey-Thompson was born on 17 April 1847.2 He was the son of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Croft.3,2 He married Charlotte Walker, daughter of Sir James Walker, 1st Bt. and Maria Thompson, on 14 July 1879.1 He died on 1 September 1926 at age 79.1
     He fought in the Ashanti War between 1873 and 1874.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 4th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the The Rigle Brigade.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He wrote the book The Fishing Catechism.2 He wrote the book The Course, the Camp, the Chase.2
