     Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith was born on 5 October 1905.1 He was the son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini.1 He married Anne Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson, on 1 July 1944.2 He died on 13 November 1999 at age 94.2
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1932 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith, of Gowbarrow, co. Cumberland [U.K., 1930] on 1 August 1939.2

     Anne Hotham was born on 27 September 1913.3 She was the daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson.3,1 She married, firstly, Anthony Gardner Bazley, son of Gardner Sebastian Bazley and Ruth Evelyn Howard, on 9 February 1934.1 She married, secondly, Captain Francis Philip Howard, 2nd Baron Howard of Penrith, son of Esme William Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Penrith and Lady Isabella Giovanna Teresa Gioachina Giustiniani-Bandini, on 1 July 1944.1 She died on 25 January 2008 at age 94.4
     From 9 February 1934, her married name became Bazley.1 After her marriage, Anne Hotham was styled as Baroness Howard of Penrith on 1 July 1944. From 1 July 1944, her married name became Howard.

     Anthony Gardner Bazley was born on 4 June 1911.1 He was the son of Gardner Sebastian Bazley and Ruth Evelyn Howard.1 He married Anne Hotham, daughter of John Beaumont Hotham and Gladys Mary Wilson, on 9 February 1934.1 He died on 23 May 1937 at age 25.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 5th Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment.1 He held the office of County Councillor for Gloucestershire.1

     Gladys Mary Wilson was born circa 1881.1 She was the daughter of Colonel John Gerald Wilson and Angelina Rose Geraldine O'Brien.1 She married John Beaumont Hotham, son of Admiral Sir Charles Frederick Hotham and Margaret Milne-Home, on 15 August 1905.1 She died on 12 February 1972.1
     Her married name became Hotham.
