     Judith Newton is the daughter of William Newton.2 She married William Welby, son of William Welby and Alice Worsley.1
     And cousin of Sir Isaac Newton.1 She was Lincolnshire.1 Her married name became Welby. She lived Gonerby.1

William Welby1

     William Welby is the son of William Welby and Judith Newton.2 He married Ellinor Williams, daughter of William Williams.1
     He was elected Member of Parliament (M.P.) but forbidden by CROMWELL to take his seat Lincs 1654.1 In 1648 bought the Manor of Denton from Sir William Thorold (see THOROLD, Bt) and moved into the manor house.1 He was , with an elder son (William, one of 11 Lincolnshire gentlemen candidate membs Order of Royal Oak (a chivalric sodality mooted by CHARLES II but never established), d unmarried 1704), a youngest son: in 1657.1

     Richard Welby was born in 1658.1 He was the son of William Welby and Ellinor Williams.2 He married Mary Towers.1 He died in 1713, an elder son:.1
     Lincs 1705 Sheriff.1 Lord Manors of Denton, Saperton, Stragglethorpe, Swinstead and Welby.1
