     Mary Josephine Vavasour was born on 12 December 1874. She was the daughter of Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld. She married Major John Frederick Loder-Symonds, son of Frederick Cleave Loder-Symonds, on 30 November 1907. She died on 15 July 1958 at age 83.
     Her married name became Loder-Symonds.

     Major John Frederick Loder-Symonds was the son of Frederick Cleave Loder-Symonds. He married Mary Josephine Vavasour, daughter of Sir William Edward Joseph Vavasour, 3rd Bt. and Mary Teresa Weld, on 30 November 1907. He died on 31 October 1914 at Ypres, Belgium, killed in action.
     Major John Frederick Loder-Symonds fought in the First World War.

     Sir Geoffrey William Vavasour, 5th Bt. was born on 5 September 1914. He was the son of Sir Leonard Pius Vavasour, 4th Bt. and Ellice Margaret Nelson. He married, firstly, Joan Millicent Kirkland Robb, daughter of Arthur John Robb, on 23 January 1940. He and Joan Millicent Kirkland Robb were divorced in 1947. He married, secondly, Marcia Christine Lodge in 1971. He and Marcia Christine Lodge were divorced in 1980.1 He died on 28 July 1997 at age 82.1
     Sir Geoffrey William Vavasour, 5th Bt. gained the title of 5th Baronet Vavasour.
