     Captain Roderick Francis Oliver was the son of W/Cdr. Douglas Austin Oliver and Sheila Laura Mary Grant-Suttie.1 He married Janet Dick-Cunyngham, daughter of Maj.-Gen. James Keith Dick-Cunyngham and Alice Daisy Deane, on 6 June 1940.1 He and Janet Dick-Cunyngham were divorced in 1961.1 He died on 30 October 1964.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Guards.1

     From 11 February 1897, her married name became Fairholme.1
