     Janet Irvine is the daughter of Alexander Irvine of Drum.1 She married Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 1st Bt., son of Sir Robert Douglas, 3rd of Glenbervie and Elizabeth Auchinleck, before 1624.1

General Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 3rd Bt.1

     General Sir Robert Douglas of Glenbervie, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 2nd Bt. and Anne Douglas.1 He married Jane (?).1 He died on 24 July 1692 at SteinkirkG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Scots.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Douglas, of Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1652] before 11 January 1688.1 He fought in the Battle of Steinkirk on 24 July 1692.1
