     Sir William Forbes of Monymusk, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Forbes of Monymusk, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Wishart.2 He married Jean Burnett, daughter of Sir Thomas Burnett of Leys, 1st Bt. and Margaret Douglas, in 1632.1 He died in 1654.2
     He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Forbes, of Monymusk, Aberdeenshire [N.S., 1626].3
