He married, firstly, Valerie Ann Dutch, daughter of J. E. Dutch, on 22 June 1971.1 He and Valerie Ann Dutch were divorced in 1975.1 He married, secondly, Deirdre Melina Jane Simmons, daughter of Thomas james Simmons, in 1990.1 He died in 1993.
