     Major Denis Bowes Daly was born on 6 January 1900.3 He is the son of Major Denis St. George Daly and Rose Zara Maria Brassey.2 He married, firstly, Diana Lascelles, daughter of Major William Frank Lascelles and Lady Sybil Evelyn de Vere Beauclerk, on 1 March 1927.1 He and Diana Lascelles were divorced in 1950.1 He married, secondly, Melosine Vivian Helen Mary Cary-Barnard, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Cyril Darcy Vivien Cary-Barnard and Henrietta Persse, on 18 December 1950.3
     Major Denis Bowes Daly usually went by his middle name of Bowes.3 He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He was commissioned in 1918 with the rank of officer, in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.3 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.3 He was Master of Household Brigade Dragoons in 1921.3 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Viceroy of India between 1923 and 1927.3 He gained the rank of Major in 1927 in the service of the Royal Horse Guards.1 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of officer in the service of the 2nd Household Cavalry Regiment.3 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.) in 1940.3 He lived before 1954 at Dunsandle, Ahtenry, County Galway, Ireland, when it was demolished.1 In 1954 County Galway (demolished ).3 He lived in 1976 at The Glen House, Ballingarry, County Limerick, Ireland.3

     Esmée Marion Bury was born on 1 July 1897.2 She was the daughter of Charles Arthur Bury and Maud M. McEmery.1,2 She married Sir Francis William Lascelles, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Arthur Lascelles and Caroline Maria Gore, on 30 September 1924.1 She died on 15 February 1995 at age 97 at Pendean, Sussex, England.3
     Her married name became Lascelles.

     Charles William Grenfell was born on 17 March 1823.2 He was the son of Charles Pascoe Grenfell and Lady Georgiana Frances Molyneux.2 He married Georgiana Caroline Lascelles, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Saunders Sebright Lascelles and Lady Caroline Georgiana Howard, on 20 July 1852.2 He died on 4 May 1861 at age 38.2
     Charles William Grenfell held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sandwich between 1847 and 1852.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Windsor after 1852.2 He lived at Taplow Court, Buckinghamshire, England.1

     George Augustus Frederick Charles Holroyd, 2nd Earl of Sheffield was born on 13 March 1802.1 He was the son of John Baker Holroyd, 1st Earl of Sheffield and Lady Anne North.1 He married Lady Harriett Lascelles, daughter of Henry Lascelles, 2nd Earl of Harewood and Henrietta Sebright, on 6 June 1825.1 He died on 5 April 1876 at age 74.1
     George Augustus Frederick Charles Holroyd, 2nd Earl of Sheffield succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Sheffield, of Roscommon, co. Roscommon [I., 1783] on 30 May 1821.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Sheffield, of Sheffield, co.      Edward Berkley Portman, 1st Viscount Portman was born on 9 July 1799. He was the son of Edward Berkeley Portman and Lucy Whitby. He married Lady Emma Lascelles, daughter of Henry Lascelles, 2nd Earl of Harewood and Henrietta Sebright, on 16 June 1827.1 He died on 10 November 1888 at age 89.
