He is the son of Colin Christopher Paget Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner and Lady Anne Veronica Coke.2 He married Teresa Mary Cormack, daughter of John McRae Cormack and Hon. Gwendoline Rita Jean Davies, on 5 January 1983.1 He died in 1990.1

     Teresa Mary Cormack was born on 29 May 1959.1 She is the daughter of John McRae Cormack and Hon. Gwendoline Rita Jean Davies.2 She married Hon. Henry Lovell Tennant, son of Colin Christopher Paget Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner and Lady Anne Veronica Coke, on 5 January 1983.1
     From 5 January 1983, her married name became Tennant. She lived in 2003 at The Glen, Innerleithen, Peebles-shire, Scotland.1
