     George Arthur Francis Byng was born on 5 April 1903. He was the son of Hon. Ivo Francis Byng and Agnes Constance Travers. He died on 14 March 1917 at age 13 at Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England.

     Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford was born on 29 July 1904. He was the son of Hon. Ivo Francis Byng and Agnes Constance Travers. He married, firstly, Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Cloete, daughter of Henry Cloete, on 1 January 1934. He and Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Cloete were divorced in 1947. He married, secondly, Clara Evelyn Wadia, daughter of Sir Nusserwanjee Nowrosjee Wadia, on 19 June 1948. He died in 1984.
     He gained the title of 7th Earl of Strafford.

     Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Cloete is the daughter of Henry Cloete. She married Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford, son of Hon. Ivo Francis Byng and Agnes Constance Travers, on 1 January 1934. She and Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford were divorced in 1947.
      Her married name became Byng.

     Henry Cloete lived at Alphen, Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.

     Thomas Edmund Byng, 8th Earl of Strafford was born on 26 September 1936. He is the son of Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford and Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Cloete. He married, firstly, Jennifer Mary Denise May, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Morrison May, in 1963. He and Jennifer Mary Denise May were divorced in 1981. He married, secondly, Julia Mary Pilcher, daughter of Sir Dennis Pilcher, in 1981.
     He gained the title of 8th Earl of Strafford.

     Julian Francis Byng was born on 3 May 1938. He is the son of Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford and Maria Magdalena Elizabeth Cloete. He married Ingela Berglund in 1966. He and Ingela Berglund were divorced in 1983.

     Clara Evelyn Wadia is the daughter of Sir Nusserwanjee Nowrosjee Wadia. She married Robert Cecil Byng, 7th Earl of Strafford, son of Hon. Ivo Francis Byng and Agnes Constance Travers, on 19 June 1948.
      Her married name became Byng.

     Sir Nusserwanjee Nowrosjee Wadia died before 1963.
     He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.). He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).
