     Sir Thomas Bendish, 1st Bt. was born circa 1568.1 He was the son of Thomas Bendish and Eleanor Foord.1 He married Dorothy Cutts, daughter of Richard Cutts.1 He died on 26 March 1636 at Bower Hall, Steeple Bumstead, Essex, England.1 He was buried at Steeple Bumstead, Essex, England.2 His will (dated 15 June 1535) was probated on 26 May 1636.2
     Sir Thomas Bendish, 1st Bt. was created 1st Baronet Bendish, of Steple Bumpsted, co. Essex [England] on 29 June 1611.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex from 1618 to 1619.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex from 1630 to 1631.1

     Sofie Margarete von Anhalt-Bernburg was born in 1615. She was the daughter of Christian I Prinz von Anhalt-Bernburg and Anna Gräfin von Bentheim-Tecklenburg. She married Johann Kasimir Prinz von Anhalt-Dessau, son of Johann Georg I Prinz von Anhalt-Dessau and Dorothea Pfalzgräfin von Simmern, in 1651. She died in 1673.

     Constance Mary Craig was the daughter of James Craig.1 She married Frederick Montague, 1st Baron Amwell, son of John Montague and Mary Ann Manderson, on 25 November 1911.1 She died on 28 January 1964.1
     From 25 November 1911, her married name became Montague.1 As a result of her marriage, Constance Mary Craig was styled as Baroness Amwell on 16 July 1947.
