     Hon. John Grey was born in 1743.1 He was the son of Harry Grey, 4th Earl of Stamford and Lady Mary Booth.1 He married Susanna Leycester, daughter of Ralph Leycester, on 22 July 1773.2 He died on 12 July 1802.2

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of officer in the Inniskilling Dragoons.3 He was famous for having shot 2500 grouse in one day.3

     He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was a barrister.1
