     Charles Hanbury, 1st Baron Sudeley of Toddington was born on 28 December 1777 at Toddington, Gloucestershire, England.2 He was the son of John Hanbury and Jane Rachel Lewis.2 He married Hon. Henrietta Susanna Tracy, daughter of Henry Tracy, 8th Viscount Tracy of Rathcoole and Susannah Weaver, on 29 December 1798 at St. Marylebone, London, England.2 He died in 1850.1
     He was High Sheriff –01 and Montgomeryshire 1804–05, helped raise 1803 the Montgomeryshire Legion, of which Lt-Col, Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) Tewkesbury 1807–12 and 1832–37, chairman judges designs for new Houses of Parl 1835 in wake of fire whi Glos 1800.3 He was educated Rugby and Ch Ch Oxford.3 He was also known as CHARLES HANBURY later HANBURY-TRACY Hanbury.3 He was County Gloucester (UK).3 He gained the title of 1st Baron Sudeley of Toddington. On 19 December 1798 roy licence.3 On 12 July 1838 so created.3 In 1848 Ld-Lt Montgomeryshire.3

     Hon. Henrietta Susanna Tracy is the daughter of Henry Tracy, 8th Viscount Tracy of Rathcoole and Susannah Weaver.1 She married Charles Hanbury, 1st Baron Sudeley of Toddington, son of John Hanbury and Jane Rachel Lewis, on 29 December 1798 at St. Marylebone, London, England.2 She died on 5 June 1839.3
     She was inherited the Welsh property (see above) and the Morville property in Shropshire which her husband sold to increase the size of his Montgomeryshire estate.3

     He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) Bridgnorth in 1837.3
