     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Herbert Shoubridge was born on 15 June 1871 at Elham, Kent, England.2,3 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Herbert William Shoubridge and Florence Mary Charlton.3 He married Constance Gladys Dugdale, daughter of Herbert Crowe Dugdale and Emmeline Charlotte Lort Phillips, on 23 July 1910.4 He died in 1923.2
     He was commissioned with the rank of officer, in the service of the 5th (Northumberland) Fusiliers.5 He fought in the Tirah Expedition in 1897.2 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.2 He gained the rank of Brigade Major in 1906 in the 13th Infantry Brigade.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was Commander of the 54th Infantry Brigade in 1915.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He was GOC of the 7th Infantry Division in 1917.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was GOC of the 42nd (East Lancashire) Infantry Division in 1919.2 He lived at Lawrenny Castle, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire, WalesG.1 He was Commandant in 1923 at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2

Elizabeth Shân Josephine Bailey was born on 10 September 1943.2 She is the daughter of Wilfred Russell Bailey, 3rd Baron Glanusk of Glanusk Park and Margaret Eldrydd Shoubridge.1,2 She married William Nigel Henry Legge-Bourke, son of Major Sir Edward Alexander Henry Legge-Bourke and Catherine Jean Grant, on 2 June 1964.1
     Hon. Elizabeth Shân Josephine Bailey usually went by her middle name of Shân.1 From 2 June 1964, her married name became Legge-Bourke.1 She held the office of Lady-in-Waiting to HRH The Princess Royal between 1978 and 1998.1 She was appointed Lieutenant, Royal Victorian Order (L.V.O.) in 1988.1 She held the office of High Sheriff of Powys in 1992.2 She held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Powys in 1998.1 She lived in 2003 at Penmyarth, Glanusk Park, Crickhowell, Powys, WalesG.2 She was appointed Dame Commander, Royal Victorian Order (D.C.V.O.) in 2015.3

     Peter Stafford Hayden Lawrence was born on 9 February 1913.1 He was the son of Aubrey Trevor Lawrence and Constance Emily Fanning McGaw.2 He married Helena Frances Lyttelton, daughter of Hon. George William Lyttelton and Pamela Marie Adeane, on 10 August 1940.2 He died on 18 March 2005 at age 92.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1935 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was an assistant master and housemaster between 1936 and 1977 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, as a Radar Officer.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1945 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He lived in 2003 at Simeons, Little Milton, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1
