Hon. John Yorke was born on 27 August 1728.1 He was the son of Philip Yorke, 1st Earl of Hardwicke and Margaret Cocks.2 He married Elizabeth Lygon, daughter of Reginald Lygon and Susanna Hanmer, on 1 January 1762.1 He died on 4 September 1801 at age 73.1
