     Sir Thomas Tyrrell was born circa 1594.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Tyrrell and Margaret Aston.1 He married, thirdly, Bridget Harington, daughter of Sir Edward Harington, 2nd Bt. and Margery D'Oyley.2 He married, firstly, Frances Saunders, daughter of Thomas Saunders.2 He married, secondly, Jane (?) on 14 February 1655.2 He died in 1672.2
     He gained the rank of Colonel of Horse from 1644 to 1645 in the Parliamentary Army.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aylesbury in 1659.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckinghamshire in 1660.2 He held the office of Councillor of State in 1660.2 He was appointed Knight on 16 July 1660.2 He lived at Castle Thorpe, Buckinghamshire, England.3
