     Charles Frederick Ingram Ramsden was born on 4 May 1888. He was the son of Captain Frederick William Ramsden and Lady Elizabeth Maud Conyngham. He married Nathalia Pykatcheva on 12 January 1922. He died on 2 April 1958 at age 69.

     William Spiller Birdwood was born on 22 October 1854.1 He was the son of General Christopher Birdwood and Lydia Juliana Taylor.1 He married, firstly, Ellen Frances Turner, daughter of Dr. C. Turner, in 1881.1 He married, secondly, Evelyn Stuart Sheppard, daughter of G. F. Sheppard, in 1886.1 He married, thirdly, Altha Smythe, daughter of J. James Barlow Smythe, on 14 February 1917.2 He died on 26 December 1930 at age 76.2
     William Spiller Birdwood gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1 He gained the rank of General Officer Commanding between 1909 and 1917 in the service of the Baroda State Army.1 He lived at Colmer, Modbury, Devon, England.1
