     Pierre Philippe Colomb was born on 18 September 1744 at Dönneloye, Berne, Switzerland.1 He was the son of Jean Collon and Marguerite (?).1 He married Maria Elizabeth Burchell on 1 December 1768 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England. He died on 4 June 1799 at age 54.1
