He was the son of Sir Wroth Acland Lethbridge, 4th Bt. and Ann Williams Benyon.1 He married, firstly, Alianore Chandos-Pole, daughter of Edward Sacheverell Chandos-Pole and Lady Anna Caroline Stanhope, on 22 October 1892. He and Alianore Chandos-Pole were divorced in 1911. He married, secondly, Kathleen O'Hara, daughter of Robert O'Hara, on 9 December 1911. He and Kathleen O'Hara were divorced in 1928.
