     He lived at Helena House, Sidmouth, Devon, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 16th Lancers.1

     Julia Hoare was born on 9 January 1800.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Hugh Hoare, 3rd Bt. and Maria Palmer Acland.1,3 She married Sir John Hesketh Lethbridge, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Thomas Buckler Lethbridge, 2nd Bt. and Jacintha Catherine Hesketh, on 15 March 1827.1 She died on 29 May 1855 at age 55.1 She was also reported to have died on 29 May 1850.2
      From 15 March 1827, her married name became Lethbridge.1

     He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Lethbridge on 1 March 1873.1
