     Major Michael Lawrence Lakin was born in 1881. He was the son of Sir Michael Henry Lakin, 1st Bt.1 He married Kathleen FitzGerald, daughter of Lord Maurice FitzGerald and Lady Adelaide Jane Frances Forbes, on 18 July 1914.1 He died on 18 October 1960.1
     Major Michael Lawrence Lakin gained the rank of Major in the service of the 11th Hussars.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1 He lived at Horetown House, Foulke's Mill, County Wexford, Ireland.1

     Gerald Michael Lakin was born on 17 January 1916. He was the son of Major Michael Lawrence Lakin and Kathleen FitzGerald. He died on 20 February 1943 at age 27 at North Africa, from wounds received in action.

     Maurice Victor Lakin was born on 30 October 1919. He is the son of Major Michael Lawrence Lakin and Kathleen FitzGerald. He married, firstly, Hughette Paule Clemence Cauvin on 18 October 1951. He and Hughette Paule Clemence Cauvin were divorced in 1956. He married, secondly, Silvanni Vong in 1959. He and Silvanni Vong were divorced in 1971.
