      From 1 July 1869, her married name became Lakin.

Sir Richard Lakin, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Richard Lakin, 2nd Bt. was born on 30 May 1873.1 He was the son of Sir Michael Henry Lakin, 1st Bt. and Alice Emma Dewing.2 He married Mildred Alice Shakerley, daughter of Captain Geoffrey Joseph Shakerley, on 22 October 1903.1 He died on 14 February 1955 at age 81.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Warwickshire Yeomanry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Lakin, of The Cliff, co. Warwick [U.K., 1909] on 21 March 1931.1

      From 4 February 1902, her married name became Lakin.
