     Kathleen Myrtle Gale was born on 22 January 1905. She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Richmond Gale and Kathleen Jane Villiers-Stuart.² She married Charles Alexander Colville, 3rd Viscount Colville of Culross, son of Charles Robert William Colville, 2nd Viscount Colville of Culross and Ruby Streatfeild, on 21 May 1931.¹ She died in 1986.¹
     As a result of her marriage, Kathleen Myrtle Gale was styled as Viscountess Colville of Culross on 21 May 1931. From 21 May 1931, her married name became Colville. She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1961.¹
