     Sir James Mackenzie Davidson was born on 6 December 1856.1 He was the son of John Davidson.2 He married Georgina Barbara Watt Henderson, daughter of Reverend William Henderson, on 6 April 1883.1 He died on 2 April 1919 at age 62.1
     Sir James Mackenzie Davidson graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.).1 He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Surgery (C.M.).1 He was Consulting Surgeon between 1909 and 1919 at X-Ray Department, Royal London Ophthalmic Hospital, London, England.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Physical Society.1 He was invested as a Knight in 1912.1 He was Honorary Consultant Radiographer to the Military Hospitals, London District.1
