     Hon. Georgiana Caroline Davidson is the daughter of John Andrew Davidson, 2nd Viscount Davidson and Margaret Birgitta Norton.1 She married Lord Edward Alexander Somerset, son of David Robert Somerset, 11th Duke of Beaufort and Lady Caroline Jane Thynne, in 1982.1
     Hon. Georgiana Caroline Davidson usually went by her middle name of Caroline.1 From 1982, her married name became Somerset.1

     Admiral John Amherst was born circa 1718.1 He was the son of Jeffrey Amherst and Elizabeth Kerrill.1 He died on 14 February 1778 at Gosport, Hampshire, England.1 He was buried at Sevenoaks, Kent, England.1
     Admiral John Amherst gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant.1 He gained the rank of Captain in December 1744.1 He was Captain of the 64 gun ship, H.M.S. Mars in 1753.1 He was Captain of the 50 gun ship, H.M.S. Deptford in 1756.1 He was Captain of the 64 gun ship, H.M.S. Captain.1 He was Captain of the 71 gun ship, H.M.S. Arrogant in 1761.1 He gained the rank of Admiral in 1765.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.1
