Lt.-Col. Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine was born in 1842. He was the son of Sir John Lambton Loraine, 10th Bt..1 He married Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard, daughter of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood, on 5 June 1877.1 He died on 4 April 1914.1

She married, secondly, Sir Allen Aitchison Havelock Charles, 2nd Bt. on 24 June 1925. She died on 24 July 1944.
