Frederick Ekins Blakeney Loraine was born on 3 August 1842.2 He was the son of Sir John Lambton Loraine, 10th Bt. and Caroline Isabella Ekins.1,3 He married Evelyn Laura Mary Barrett-Lennard, daughter of Sir Thomas Barrett-Lennard, 2nd Bt. and Emma Wood, on 5 June 1877.1 He died on 4 April 1914 at age 71.1

Sir John Lambton Loraine, 10th Bt. was born on 30 July 1784.2 He was the son of Sir William Loraine, 4th Bt. and Hannah Algood.2 He married Caroline Isabella Ekins, daughter of Reverend Frederick Ekins, on 24 February 1835.2 He died on 11 July 1852 at age 67.2
