Robert Henry Langton Brackenbury, on 18 May 1957.² He died on 2 August 2008 at age 81.³

     Pauline Trewlove Brackenbury is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Henry Langton Brackenbury.¹ She married Thomas John Ashton, 3rd Baron Ashton of Hyde, son of Thomas Henry Raymond Ashton, 2nd Baron Ashton of Hyde and Marjorie Nell Brookes, on 18 May 1957.¹
      Her married name became Ashton. As a result of her marriage, Pauline Trewlove Brackenbury was styled as Baroness Ashton of Hyde on 21 March 1983.
