Lady Elizabeth Douglas1

     Lady Elizabeth Douglas was the daughter of John Douglas, 2nd Earl of Morton and Janet Crichton.1 She married Robert Keith, Master of Marischal, son of William Keith, 2nd Earl Marischal and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, before 8 January 1505/6.2 She died on 2 May 1527.2
     She was also known as Beatrice.2 From before 8 January 1505/6, her married name became Keith.2

Janet Crichton

     Janet Crichton was the daughter of Sir Patrick Crichton. She married John Douglas, 2nd Earl of Morton, son of James Douglas, 1st Earl of Morton and Joan Stewart, before 1493.1,2 She died after 1515.1
     After her marriage, Janet Crichton was styled as Countess of Morton before 1493. From before 1493, her married name became Douglas.1,2

     Lady Mary Erskine was born in 1597. She was the daughter of John Erskine, 19th/2nd Earl of Mar and Lady Mary Stuart.1,3 She married Patrick Maule, 1st Earl of Panmure, son of Patrick Maule and Margaret Erskine.4 A contract for the marriage of Lady Mary Erskine and William Keith, 5th Earl Marischal was signed on 12 October 1609.1 She died after 1626.
     Her married name became Maule.4 She was also known as Margaret. Her married name became Keith.

Jane Mercer1

     Jane Mercer was the daughter of William Mercer and Margaret Murray.1,2 She married Admiral George Keith Elphinstone, 1st and last Viscount Keith, son of Charles Elphinstone, 10th Lord Elphinstone and Lady Clementina Fleming, on 9 April 1787 at Caputh, Perthshire, Scotland.1,3 She died on 12 December 1789.4
     She was also known as Jane Nairne.4 Her married name became Elphinstone.

     Lady Grizel Middleton was born circa 1642.2 She was the daughter of John Middleton, 1st Earl of Middleton and Grizel Durham.1 She married William Douglas, 9th Earl of Morton, son of Robert Douglas, 8th Earl of Morton and Elizabeth Villiers, on 12 June 1662.1
     From 12 June 1662, her married name became Douglas. After her marriage, Lady Grizel Middleton was styled as Countess of Morton on 12 June 1662.

     Lady Anne Douglas was the daughter of William Douglas, 7th Earl of Morton and Lady Anne Keith.1,2 A contract for the marriage of Lady Anne Douglas and George Hay, 2nd Earl of Kinnoull was signed on 7 September 1622.1 She died circa December 1667.1 She was buried on 6 December 1667.1
     She was also known as Agnes.1 Her married name became Hay. After her marriage, Lady Anne Douglas was styled as Countess of Kinnoull on 16 December 1634.

     Lady Mary Drummond was born on 14 July 1675.3 She was the daughter of James Drummond, 4th Earl of Perth and Lady Jean Douglas.1,3 She married William Keith, 8th Earl Marischal, son of George Keith, 7th Earl Marischal and Lady Mary Hay, circa 1690.4 She died on 7 March 1729 at age 53.3
     From circa 1690, her married name became Keith.4

George Keith, 9th Earl Marischal

     George Keith, 9th Earl Marischal was born in 1692.1 He was the son of William Keith, 8th Earl Marischal and Lady Mary Drummond.1 He died on 23 May 1778 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, GermanyG, unmarried.4
     He succeeded as the 9th Lord Keith [S., 1451] in 1712.1 He succeeded as the 9th Earl Marischal [S., 1458] in 1712.1 He fought in the Battle of Sheriffmuir on 13 November 1715, where he commanded the Jacobite right wing.1 In 1716 he was attainted for participating in the 1715 Uprising.1 In 1719 he lead another Jacobite uprising in Scotland.1 He held the office of Prussian Ambassador to France between 1751 and 1754.1 He was awarded the Order of the Black Eagle of Prussia in 1752.1 He held the office of Prussian Ambassador to Spain between 1759 and 1761.1
