     Thomas Henry Ashton was born on 8 October 1887.1 He was the son of Thomas Gair Ashton, 1st Baron Ashton of Hyde and Eva Margaret James.1 He died on 20 September 1897 at age 9.1

     John Graham, 6th Earl of Mentieth was born circa 1574. He was the son of William Graham, 5th Earl of Menteith and Margaret Douglas. He married Maria Campbell, daughter of Sir Colin Campbell of Glenorchy and Catherine Ruthven, on 22 October 1589.1 He died in December 1598.
     John Graham, 6th Earl of Mentieth gained the title of 6th Earl of Menteith.

     Caroline Susan Catherine Beresford was the daughter of Col. Rt. Hon. George Thomas Beresford and Harriet Schutz. She married, firstly, Hon. Edward Kenyon, son of George Kenyon, 2nd Baron Kenyon and Margaret Emma Hanmer, on 19 September 1840. She died on 8 March 1866.
     Her married name became Kenyon.

     Emma Louise Allinson is the daughter of Colin Allinson.1 She married Thomas Henry Ashton, 4th Baron Ashton of Hyde, son of Thomas John Ashton, 3rd Baron Ashton of Hyde and Pauline Trewlove Brackenbury, in 1987.1
     From 1987, her married name became Ashton.1 As a result of her marriage, Emma Louise Allinson was styled as Baroness Ashton of Hyde on 2 August 2008.

     William Graham, 7th Earl of Menteith was born after July 1589. He was the son of John Graham, 6th Earl of Mentieth and Maria Campbell. He married Agnes Gray, daughter of Patrick Gray, 6th Lord Gray and Lady Mary Stewart, after 30 March 1612.1 He died after 13 April 1661.2
     William Graham, 7th Earl of Menteith gained the title of 7th Earl of Menteith. He was created 1st Earl of Airth [Scotland] on 28 March 1633, with precedency of 6 September 1428.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
