     George Trevor-Roper was born on 14 May 1820. He was the son of Cadwallader Blayney Roper and Eliza Agnes Gayton. He married Amelia Macdonald, daughter of Captain Archibald Macdonald, on 24 April 1850. He died on 14 November 1870 at age 50.
     George Trevor-Roper lived at Fern Bank, Rock Ferry, Cheshire, England.
