     Admiral Arthur William Jerningham was born on 26 February 1807. He was the son of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright. He married Sophia Mary Margaret Caddell, daughter of Rochard O'Ferrall Caddell and Paulina Southwell, on 19 April 1836. He died on 24 November 1889 at age 82.

     Sophia Mary Margaret Caddell was the daughter of Rochard O'Ferrall Caddell and Paulina Southwell. She married Admiral Arthur William Jerningham, son of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright, on 19 April 1836. She died on 18 October 1889.
     Her married name became Jerningham.

     Captain Iltyd Thomas Mansel Nicholl was the son of Rt. Hon. John Nicholl. He married Cecilia Mary Jerningham, daughter of Admiral Arthur William Jerningham and Sophia Mary Margaret Caddell, on 30 April 1862. He died on 17 December 1885.
     Captain Iltyd Thomas Mansel Nicholl gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.
