     William Mostyn was born on 2 August 1823.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. and Frances Blundell.2 He married Clementina Jerningham, daughter of Edmund William Jerningham and Matilda Waterton, on 6 June 1861.2 He died in 1909.1

Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt.1

     Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt. was born on 10 April 1785.2 He was the son of Sir Pyers Mostyn, 6th Bt. and Barbara Slaughter.2 He married, firstly, Frances Blundell, daughter of Nicholas Blundell and Clementina Tempest, on 20 October 1808.2 He married, secondly, Constantia Slaughter, daughter of Henry Slaughter and Frances Manby, on 2 August 1826.2 He died on 18 July 1841 at age 56.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Mostyn, of Talacre, co. Flint [E., 1670] on 29 October 1823.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1837.2

     Frances Blundell was the daughter of Nicholas Blundell and Clementina Tempest.1,2 She married Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt., son of Sir Pyers Mostyn, 6th Bt. and Barbara Slaughter, on 20 October 1808.1 She died on 25 January 1825.1
     Her married name became Mostyn.

Nicholas Blundell1

     Nicholas Blundell was born in 1740.2 He was the son of Henry Peppard and Frances Blundell.2 He married Clementina Tempest, daughter of Stephen Walter Tempest and Frances Olive Meynell.3 He died on 6 January 1795.3,2
     He lived at Crosby Hall, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He was given the name of Nicholas Peppard at birth.3 In 1772 his name was legally changed to Nicholas Blundell by Royal Licence.3

Constantia Slaughter1

     Constantia Slaughter was the daughter of Henry Slaughter and Frances Manby.1 She married Sir Edward Mostyn, 7th Bt., son of Sir Pyers Mostyn, 6th Bt. and Barbara Slaughter, on 2 August 1826.2 She died on 12 December 1872.1
     Her married name became Mostyn.

     Henry Slaughter was the son of Thomas Slaughter and Barbara Parry. He married Frances Manby, daughter of Thomas Manby, on 21 May 1800. He died in 1823.

     Frances Manby is the daughter of Thomas Manby. She married, firstly, Mark Anthony Browne, 9th Viscount Montagu, son of Mark Browne, on 6 February 1797 at Little Burstead, Essex, England. She married, secondly, Henry Slaughter, son of Thomas Slaughter and Barbara Parry, on 21 May 1800.
     From 6 February 1797, her married name became Browne. From 21 May 1800, her married name became Slaughter.
