     Sir Joshua Christmas Paul, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 December 1773.1 He was the son of Sir Joshua Paul, 1st Bt. and Sarah Gun.1 He married Elizabeth Wallis, daughter of Henry Wallis, on 16 April 1811.1 He died on 22 August 1842 at age 68, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Paul, of Paulville, co. Carlow [I., 1794] on 15 April 1799.1
