     William Nicholas Eden was born on 14 March 1900. He was the son of Sir William Eden, 7th Bt. and Sybil Frances Grey. He died on 31 May 1916 at age 16, killed in action.
     William Nicholas Eden gained the rank of Midshipman in the service of the Royal Navy. He fought in the Battle of Jutland on 31 May 1916.
