     Lieutenant John Eden was born on 9 October 1888. He was the son of Sir William Eden, 7th Bt. and Sybil Frances Grey. He died on 17 October 1914 at age 26 at France, killed in action.

     Sir Timothy Calvert Eden, 8th Bt. was born on 3 May 1893. He was the son of Sir William Eden, 7th Bt. and Sybil Frances Grey. He married Edith Mary Patricia Prendergast, daughter of Arthur Prendergast, on 30 January 1923. He died in 1963.
     Sir Timothy Calvert Eden, 8th Bt. gained the title of 6th Baronet Eden, of Maryland. He gained the title of 8th Baronet Eden, of West Auckland.

John Eden, Baron Eden of Winton 2
     Sir John Benedict Eden, Baron Eden of Winton was born on 15 September 1925. He is the son of Sir Timothy Calvert Eden, 8th Bt. and Edith Mary Patricia Prendergast. He married, firstly, Belinda Jane Pascoe, daughter of Sir Frederick John Pascoe and Margaret Esson Scott, on 28 January 1958. He and Belinda Jane Pascoe were divorced in 1974. He married, secondly, Margaret Anne Gordon on 8 January 1977.3
     Sir John Benedict Eden, Baron Eden of Winton gained the title of 7th Baronet Eden, of Maryland. He gained the title of 9th Baronet Eden, of West Auckland. He was created Baron Eden of Winton, of Rushyford in the County of Durham [U.K. Life Peer] on 3 October 1983.1
