     Lt.-Gen. George Morton Eden was born on 10 May 1806. He was the son of Sir Frederick Morton Eden, 2nd Bt. and Anne Smith. He married Louisa Anne Eyres, daughter of George Robert Eyres, on 18 January 1834. He died in November 1862 at age 56.

     Louisa Anne Eyres was the daughter of George Robert Eyres. She married Lt.-Gen. George Morton Eden, son of Sir Frederick Morton Eden, 2nd Bt. and Anne Smith, on 18 January 1834. She died on 5 November 1878.
     Her married name became Eden.
