     John Peter Pardoe was born in 1909.1 He was the son of John Hubert Pardoe.2 He married Violet Hilda Drummond, daughter of Lieutenant David Robert Drummond and Hilda Margaret Harris, on 1 December 1933.2 He and Violet Hilda Drummond were divorced in 1945.2 He died in 2002.1

     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Guards.1

     Her married name became Aitken.
