     Daphne Gladstone was the daughter of William Buckley Gladstone.² She married Sir Richard Hugh Jessel, son of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid, on 27 July 1954.¹ She died on 13 April 1971.¹
     She was Military Cross (M.C.).¹ She was and widow of Major Thirlwall G Phillipson.¹ She was Life Guards.¹ She was Hampshire.¹ She lived Moortown House.¹ Her married name became Jessel. Ringwood.¹ And S Kensington.¹

     Nina Dorothy Jessel was born on 2 July 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid.² She died on 20 July 1983 at age 90, unmarried.¹

     Marjorie Constance Jessel was born on 16 October 1897.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid.² She died on 26 June 1940 at age 42, unmarried.¹

     Colonel John Worthy Chaplin, V.C. was born on 23 July 1840.² He married Isabel Thomson in 1871 at York, Yorkshire, England.² He died on 18 August 1920 at age 80.²
     He lived at Kenilworth Hall, Leicestershire, England.² He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Victoria Cross (V.C.).¹ He fought in the Capture of taku Forts on 21 August 1860, where he first to plant the colours on the fort, and was severely wounded.²

      From 1908, her married name became Swetenham.² From 1 February 1923, her married name became Jessel.

     Gloria Joan Jessel was the daughter of Sir George Jessel, 2nd Bt. and Muriel Gladys Chaplin.² She died on 24 May 1925.¹

     Betty Ewart is the daughter of David Ewart.² She married Sir George Jessel, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Charles James Jessel, 1st Bt. and Edith Goldsmid, on 7 June 1948.¹
     She was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).¹ She was Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.).¹ And formerly wife of 2nd Baron Russell of Liverpool (qv).¹ She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).¹ She lived Chichester.¹ Joan.¹

     Sir Ian Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 4th Bt. was born on 1 February 1932.¹ He is the son of Sir Neil Edward Johnson-Ferguson, 3rd Bt. and Sheila Marian Jervis.² He married Rosemary Teresa Whitehead, daughter of Cecil John Whitehead, on 9 April 1964.¹
     He was educated at Ampleforth College, Ampleforth, Yorkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).¹ He was educated at Imperial College, London University, London, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Johnson-Ferguson, of Springkell, co. Dumfries, Kenyon, Newchurch-in-Culcheth, co. Palatine, Lancashire and Wiston, co. Lanark [U.K., 1906] in 1992.³ He lived in 2003 at Littlefield House, Webbs Lane, Andover, Hampshire, England.¹
