     Sheila Florence Douglas-Pennant was born on 11 January 1918. She is the daughter of Admiral Hon. Sir Cyril Eustace Douglas-Pennant and Phyllis Constance Leigh. She married, firstly, Anthony Brine on 23 May 1946. She and Anthony Brine were divorced in 1950. She married, secondly, Ronald Arthur Cobb, son of Reverend Arthur Charles Cobb, on 8 March 1951.
     From 23 May 1946, her married name became Brine. From 8 March 1951, her married name became Cobb.
