     Sir Edward Thomas Le Marchant, 4th Bt. was born on 23 October 1871. He was the son of Sir Henry Denis Le Marchant, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Sophia Strutt.1 He married Evelyn Brooks Knowles, daughter of Robert Millington Knowles and Hon. Alice Crawshaw, on 11 May 1899. He died on 17 November 1953 at age 82.
     Sir Edward Thomas Le Marchant, 4th Bt. gained the title of 4th Baronet Le Marchant.
