Colonel Henry William St. Pierre Bunbury was born on 2 September 1812.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Henry Edward Bunbury, 7th Bt. and Louisa Emilia Fox.1 He married Cecilia Caroline Napier, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Thomas Napier and Margaret Craig, on 30 November 1852.1 He died on 18 September 1875 at age 63.1

Lt.-Gen. Sir Charles James Napier was born on 10 August 1782. He was the son of Colonel Hon. George Napier and Lady Sarah Lennox. He married Elizabeth Oakeley, daughter of Thomas Oakeley, in April 1827. He married Frances Philipps, daughter of William Philipps, in 1835. He died on 29 August 1853 at age 71.1
